To expand on the marketing opportunities of the latest PMA trade show, here is a great example of our out-of-the-box problem solving and quick turnaround abilities. Garden Highway along with partner Crunch-Pak, recently began to produce a collection of fresh-cut, pre-sliced apples to be sold in bags and smaller serving-size clamshells. Their partnership was so recent that the new packaging would not be ready for its launch at the largest fresh produce trade show in the US. So, the team at Garden Highway asked if Page Design could work their magic to create something from nothing.
To start, the package design concepts were developed and sent out for approval. Both contacts at Garden Highway and Crunch-Pak responded quickly and sent approvals back so that we could continue developing the product sheets. Working under the deadline of the PMA Fresh Summit, Mark and I quickly rushed into our photo studio armed with real and raw product but no packaging. After the shots were taken, I remastered the photos with the new package design and placed the pictures into the new sales sheet layouts. The before and after shots show the amount of craftsmanship it took to apply the new packaging to the bags. Our friends at Monarch Printing responded quickly with great digital printing and the collection of sheets were sent to Florida to arrive on time, for the show. The entire process took about 2 weeks from design to final sheets. We are proud of the results and the positive response from the crowd at PMA was worth the effort. Thanks for the great team effort!
