Page Design Group has had a long and valued relationship with the CA Lottery which started in 1994. Recently we had the privilege of participating in the implementation of the new CA Lottery Brand (created by Alcone Marketing). When a company decides to update their brand it means redesigning every piece of collateral material within that company… a daunting task for any business. For a company as large as the CA Lottery it requires the help of many different vendors!
Although Page Design has worked on several of these pieces, we are most proud of the work we did on a publication entitled Salesmaker. This is actually a piece that Page Design designed for the CA Lottery over eight years ago then called the Lottery News. Although the old design served the CA Lottery well, with the launch of the their new brand it was time to give the Lottery News a new look to go along with its new name. Although Salesmaker's main purpose is to inform retailers of business related issues such as CA Lottery policies, sales techniques and statistics, it has a second purpose which is to inspire retailers and highlight the superstars among them.
Page Design's task was to design a publication that focused on what the CA Lottery is all about… "Possibilities. Fun. Entertainment. Optimism. New Starts…" and in doing so get retailers excited about reading the publication and participating in Lottery programs. As you will see in the slide show, the final design uses bright colors, editorial style photography and an organic non-template based layout to add interest to each issue and draw the reader in. We look forward to continually updating and improving Salesmaker for many years to come.
