Mark (The Nerd) Aplet —

Mark can talk for 30 seconds using only sentence articles and abbreviations. He rules the Web scene by maximizing technology. It is all about usability for Mark, who is the first to tell you if your website is loading too slow, not ADA compliant or uses bad code. He has any number of other interests including: photography, videography, software interface design and film. On weekends Mark can be found with wife Heather and dog Henna working on their house or 4-wheeling in the backcountry.

Q) What is your favorite website?
A) I read RSS feeds from Smashing Magazine quite a lot right now, but it's really only one of about 50+

Q) When did you last "break the rules" and what where they?
A) I'm an anarchist so I don't believe in rules.

Q) What was the last art exhibition you went to see? Where was it?
A) Just this Saturday. Co-worker Heather and I started to shoot a documentary about the Sacramento art scene.

Q) A party is not a party without…?
A) Beer! and me!

Q) What was the last gadget or toy you bought?
A) I stood in line to buy the iPhone 3G when It first came out.

A) A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!

A) Okay, done. But I can't tell you or it will not come true.

Q) What do you do creatively outside of work for a hobby?
A) I do photography, videography, web design and development… Pretty much the same things I do at work. I love what I do. How many people can say that.
