Every once in a while we get a project that really touches our hearts and Project 3000 is one of those. Project 3000 is a non-profit organization created by Chicago Cubs star Derrek Lee and Boston Celtics CEO and co-owner Wyc Grousbeck. Both men, and their families, have been touched by Lebers Congenital Amaurosis (LCA). As a result, they decided to combine their talents and help forward the research being done on the causes of and cure for Leber Congenital Amaurosis (LCA).
It is always nice to be acknowledged for the long hours you put in on a project, and even better with you win an award for it! So we are pleased to announce that The Fall 2008 issue of NorthBay Healthcare's quarterly magazine entitled Wellspring won the Marketing Healthcare Today magazine's Gold Aster Award for outstanding excellence in healthcare advertising.
